Helena Community Credit Union (HCCU) was established in Helena in 1936 as "Helena U.S. Employees Federal Credit Union". Since that time, our name has changed a few
times - to Helena Federal Credit Union, to Helena Community Federal Credit Union and in 2002 to Helena Community Credit Union - allowing a larger field of membership with
each name change.
Our current field of membership includes persons who live in; worship in; attend school in; businesses and other legal entities in Lewis and Clark, Broadwater, Jefferson
and Powell Counties in Montana; members of the Montana National Guard, full and part-time; full-time military; active Guard Reserve; members of the Armed Forces Reserve
stationed in Montana; employees of the Department of Military Affairs; Title 32 employees of the Montana Army National Guard; employees of this credit union and members of their immediate families.

Russell Country Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1946 in Great Falls, Montana. It is not a new credit union, but a new name.
Russell Country Federal Credit Union represents four great credit unions that have merged together over the last twenty years.
